Formal Education
Dr. Jonathan Friedman joined our practice in June of 2007. He is originally from Venezuela, where he completed his dental education at the Universidad Central de Venezuela in May, 2000. After completing his Periodontal post-doctoral program at the University of Pennsylvania in 2004, Dr. Friedman went on to complete the Advanced Standing Program from University of Pennsylvania.

In 2006, Dr. Friedman became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics, certified in Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery.
Professional Memberships
Dr. Friedman is currently a member of the American Academy of Periodontics, the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. His repertoire of clinical experience in periodontal therapies includes traditional non-surgical and surgical therapy, periodontal plastic surgery, dental implantology and site development, along with sinus elevation.
Dr. Friedman is also fluent in Spanish.
Outside of the Office
Dr. Friedman, along with his wife and children live in Bala Cynwyd. When he’s not in the office, Jonathan’s interests include building and flying radio-controlled model airplanes, home improvement, and photography.
