Freedman, DDS - Philadelphia & Warminster PADr. Freedman, born and raised in Philadelphia, completed his periodontal training at Temple University School of Dentistry, where he also previously earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree (Magna Cum Laude) at Albright College.

Dr. Freedman has a strong interest in periodontics and implantology research and has published fifteen research papers in the Journal of Periodontology and The International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He also serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Periodontology, as well as several other Committees for the American Academy of Periodontology and the Pennsylvania Association of Periodontists.

Since 2014, Dr. Freedman has served as an examiner for the American Board of Periodontology, administering oral examinations to prospective candidates for Board certification.

Dr. Freedman is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, the Pennsylvania Association of Periodontists, the Philadelphia County Dental Society, the Montgomery-Bucks County Dental Society, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Delaware Valley Academy of Osseointegration.

Dr. Freedman enjoys spending his free time with his wife and family, including his five grandchildren. He also enjoys the pursuit of his other interests including golf, travel, reading, and taking continuing education courses in both professional and many other non-dental related subjects.

Although Dr. Freedman retired at the end of 2019, he remains active with Periodontal Services, Ltd.
