About Dr. Schneider
Dr. Schneider, a native of Philadelphia, after a tour of duty in the US Air Force as a captain in the dental core, completed his specialty training at Temple University. He also attended Dental School at Temple and, prior to that, undergraduate school.
At his graduation from Dental School, he was elected to numerous honor societies. He has been active in organized dentistry ever since.
After having taught at Temple University Dental School for over 30 years, Dr. Schneider was a consultant to one of the largest insurance companies in the area regarding periodontal treatment.
Dr. Schneider was a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, the Pennsylvania Society of Periodontists, the Philadelphia County Dental Society, the Montgomery-Bucks County Dental Society, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.
In addition to his continuing interest and participation in his chosen field, as well as implant-related dentistry, he had outside interests in fishing, flying radio-controlled model airplanes, and enjoys retirement and traveling with his wife.
