Financial Information

For your convenience we accept Visa, Discover, American Express and MasterCard. If you have any problems or questions about your dental coverage, please ask our staff. They are well informed and up-to-date. They can be reached by phone at 215-676-0717 in our Northeast Philadelphia Office or 215-672-5515 in our Warminster Office. Please call if you have any questions or concerns regarding your initial visit.

Most insurance companies will respond with payment within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated.

Insurance Information

As a patient receiving periodontal care in this office, you may have questions about the coverage provided by your dental insurance plan. Since there are an endless number of individual plans that offer specific coverage and restrictions, we may not always be able to provide you with all of the answers. You should contact your employer’s human resources department or the insurance company directly with any specific problems.

It is our responsibility to treat your periodontal problems appropriately. We do not make recommendations based on whether or not you have dental insurance benefits, or what benefits you may have. As a service to our patients, we will provide information required by insurance companies to process your claim. As the patient, you are ultimately responsible for the entire fee being paid. Our staff will discuss with you a variety of payment options available to you.

Most dental insurance companies require a pre-treatment estimate be obtained. Once the pre-treatment estimate has been filed, the insurance company will notify you and us as to what benefits they will pay. Benefits usually do not cover the entire cost of care, therefore you will be responsible for the difference between the insurance benefits and the total fee.

Remember, your employer determines the amount of premium dollars he is willing to pay. The insurance company then tailors a plan for your employer that specifies what services will be covered and what benefits will be paid. Your treatment here is not compromised to fit the benefits paid by your insurance company.

Managed Care Patients:
Please be sure to bring all of the proper referral forms as well as a full set of radiographs. Many Dental plans only allow the family dentist to take dental X-rays, so please be sure to have them with you or sent to our office prior to your initial visit.
